Our Qualifications
The owner/director of FASI is Joy Bartmon, a family law attorney with 30 years experience. Joy saw the need in family division cases for off-site supervised visitation services for families with the resources to hire a private provider, as an alternative to on-site services. FASI provides a high level of professionalism in providing supervision, reporting, and testimony.
FASI is approved by the 15th Judicial Circuit (Palm Beach County) and the 17th Judicial Circuit (Broward County) to accept court-ordered supervised visitation and has agreed to adhere to the minimum standards developed by the Florida Supreme Court and the Institute for Family Violence Studies of the Florida State University College of Social Work. Joy has undergone training in supervised visitation as well as sexual abuse case protocols, and she has many years of experience in family and dependency court as an attorney, and as a Guardian Ad Litem. Any other providers she may use have professional qualifications and training.
At Family Access Solutions, Inc., we are professionals dedicated to child advocacy. We want to promote better parenting, despite the conflict of divorce, separation, long-distance parenting, or post-separation reunification of parent and child. Off-site supervised visitation is being provided at this time, while we plan for a dedicated site to provide such services. We can provide certified mediation services to parents working to resolve parenting issues without litigation to assist parents in creating the comprehensive parenting plans now required by Florida law in dissolution of marriage and post-dissolution custody proceedings. Educational seminars and materials in areas such as parenting, conflict resolution, and Florida law on custody and timesharing, are available.
