Membership and Outreach Coordinator– Job Description
POSITION TITLE: Membership and Outreach Coordinator POSITION REPORTS DIRECTLY TO: Executive Director
JOB SUMMARY: The Membership and Outreach Coordinator is a paid, full-time position that will support existing SVN Members, recruit new members, and oversee the planning and implementation of outreach strategies. They will be responsible for increasing awareness of the work of SVN in the broader community by cultivating relationships with courts, funders, judges, child welfare agencies, domestic violence organizations and other relevant organizations. Some travel may be required. SALARY RANGE- Low $40's PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES: • Process membership renewals. • Outreach to expired and prospective members. • Administrative duties as necessary to support membership. • Technical support as needed for members. • Train members to maximize SVN website resources. • Nurturing new and old relationships with collaborative partners. • Build relationships with courts, judges and child welfare referral agencies. • Maintain and enhance parent resources on website. • Develop and maintain a national census of SV providers. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & TECHNOLOGY: Minimum Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent technology skills and ability to learn new and utilize new technology with ease Must have reliable, high-speed internet Preferred Qualifications: Undergraduate or Graduate degree(s) in like fields (communication, marketing, business, or related field, etc) Preferred experience of 3-5 years within non-profit fundraising or outreach activities. Strong knowledge of social media and other basic marketing platforms ABILITIES: Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with members and staff, as well as people from culturally diverse backgrounds. Ability to travel as some travel may be required. WORKING CONDITIONS: This position will be located remotely and will require occasional travel. Tasks and meetings for this position are frequently held during Eastern Time Zone hours and may cause staff to work slightly outside typically business hours based on their local time zone.
