Savannah has great tourist attractions, restaurants, and shops, on Thursday night we will take you to The Real Savannah, the one the locals

Your adventure starts with a free SVN trolley ride from the DeSoto Hotel to the Starland Yard District on the Old Town Trolley! Trollies will make multiple runs to/from Starland Yard. Enjoy all that the Starland District and Starland Yard have to offer! Ride in style to this quaint neighborhood and dine, shop, and drink with your fellow conference attendees. We will be meeting up that evening for a group photo--a free SVN giveaway item will be included for this one-of-a-kind photo op! We will get you to and from there....what you do is up to you and with all the options available, you will have a hard time picking! Trollies will run to/from the area multiple times through the evening--all free for SVN conference attendees!

In this artsy neighborhood dreamed up in the late 1990s by two Savannah College of Art and Design students, creativity fuels the community. Fun and funky shops, galleries, and studios now thrive in once-rundown buildings. Shop for vintage clothing, vinyl records, and original art, and treat your taste buds to several quaint and quirky cafes. The Starland District is the creative hub of the city and easily wins as Savannah's most eclectic neighborhood. It's where you'll find a thriving art scene and a diverse mix of families, students, and creative professionals. If you're looking for a hip and trendy neighborhood, it is where to be. This vibrant area is home to some of Savannah's hippest restaurants, shops, and nightlife spots. The homes in this area are also some of the most unique in Savannah. Watch a brief video HERE

In this neighborhood, you will find Starland Yard which offers a variety of rotating food trucks each week, hosts Vittoria Pizzeria where renowned Chef Kyle Jacovino slings Neapolitan pies, and is home to the yard bar for beer, wine, cocktails, and frozen drinks. They curate special events featuring local music, art, and culture weekly. The Yard is a family-friendly, safe, and fun option for people who might not agree on what to eat or drink, but agree they’re looking for a good time together.

Front Porch Improv was created by four former New Yorkers living in Savannah. We've performed around the country including at Chicago Improv Festival, New York SketchFest, and the DC Comedy Festival. More importantly, we put on high-quality improv comedy shows in Savannah, GA with a cast of talented performers. Our actors include graduates of the Upright Citizens Brigade (NYC), People's Improv Theatre (NYC), iO (Chicago), The Groundlings (LA), and Theatre 99 (Charleston)--plus some exceedingly attractive homegrown talent.
