    2026 SVN Webinar Series 

    Submit Proposal

SVN is now accepting proposals for our 2026 Webinar Series and we’d love to hear from professionals working in and with providers of supervised visitation and safe exchange. This is an opportunity to share your expertise, innovative practices, and practical tools with a global audience of practitioners, advocates, and stakeholders.


Priority topics


We’re especially interested in sessions related to:

  • Best practices in supervised visitation and safe exchange (including intake, child refusal, teen visits, challenging family dynamics, and trauma-informed services)
  • Mental health and supervised visitation
  • Substance use and recovery in the context of supervised visitation
  • Judicial or legal perspectives
  • Working with families impacted by intimate partner violence
  • Child welfare and the role of supervised visitation
  • Cultural competency and diversity in visitation programs
  • Technology and virtual visitation programs
  • Innovative program models and service delivery approaches
  • Webinar Format

    • 60–90 minutes, including Q&A
    • Webinars are typically held at 1 PM EST to accommodate all time zones in North America
    • Webinars are recorded and made available on the SVN Webinar Archive
    • Selected presenters submit slides/handouts/supporting materials one week prior to the live session for approval 
  • What to Submit

    Please submit a proposal (no more than 300 words) that includes:

    • Webinar title
    • Description + key learning objectives
    • Target audience (program administrators, front-line staff, supervisors, etc.)
    • Presenter name(s) and credentials
    • You’ll also be asked for a presenter bio and headshot, and you can include co-presenter details if applicable.
  • Selection Criteria

    We prioritize proposals that are:

    • Practical and skills-based (tools, templates, case examples)
    • Thoughtfully prepared and well-developed (clear learning objectives and participant takeaways)
    • Trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and ethically grounded
    • Relevant to supervised visitation and safe exchange providers across settings
    • Not primarily promotional (disclose any conflicts/promotional elements)

     

    If your proposed session includes marketing/sales content or a call-to-action to purchase a product/service, please disclose that in the submission. 


    Proposals with promotional content require additional review and may be approved with conditions, declined, or require sponsorship/presenter fees depending on the level of promotion.

SVN is unable to provide an honorarium or speaker fee for webinar presentations at this time. We’re grateful for presenters who share their expertise in service of the field.
